I am covering three days in one blog, because not much is happening at the moment. There has been a bit of snow, but also a lot of rain. So Grey and Blue are pretty low key (more so than usual). Life has been dominated by the preparations for the surprise trip that Grey has arranged for seventieth birthday of Blue which is later this month. He has told her to pack some stuff and off they are due to go next week. Instead of being excited by the project and its mystery, old Blue Rinse has been moaning about how many knickers she will need to pack, how cold (or hot) it will be, and a million other questions. Poor old Grey, who has been planning this “event of a lifetime” for months, is at his wits’ end trying not to give the game away by answering any of her cunning questions. He keeps saying “don’t worry dear, just do what I tell you” but in a funny way, this only seems to make the panic and stress worse.

And it is the stress of the situation which is getting me down as well. They have taken me for several long walks and I have managed to lose the tennis ball on each occasion so scrambled is my brain with the tension of it all. You see, Grey has told me what is planned and if Blue does not want to go, count me in. However, softie though he is, he has been rejecting my hints and is still trying to get Blue to enthuse even though she does not know what she is to enthuse about.

The only other thing of note is that I had a charming email from my good friend Archie. Rather than paraphrase it, I got Grey to turn it into a web page. Good to hear from you Archie. On the collar question, I wonder if we have a case of being subjected to an unnatural punishment and we could take the slave masters to the European Court of Human Rights while we still can. Which brings me back to Brexit.

Stoppit.
